Let’s learn a lesson.
Trade with Allah …
Muslims were stunned by the decision of a real estate company in Spain Andalus, Spain to remove their mosque, under the pretext of the end of the lease contract on the land on which it was built, and the amount required to buy the land is large and unavailable, and the time is not enough to start a fundraising campaign..
The news reached the star of Seville Club, the financial Frederic Kanoute, He contacted the real estate company and bought this floor to prevent the mosque from being removed. When he was asked about that, he said: “I have no comment on the matter. The land was offered for sale, so I bought it to keep the mosque.
Yes, I paid 500 thousand dollars of my free money to prevent the demolition of a mosque in Andalusia, and I will pay all my money if necessary. I am a Muslim and my religion is my life, I am not only a football player, and I think that buying the mosque land is better than all the titles and shields of the Spanish League and football.”
Hmmmm!!! What a thoughtful, rewarding and Barakah-Filled decision worthy of making/taking for benefits in both worlds. Maa Sha’a Allah.
I guess the question on your mind is, what if I’m not this financially buoyant as the wealthy ones? Wealth does not only literally means money or having cash. Take a look at the piece below.
Late Sheikh Albani Zaria is of the opinion that in every local mosque. A lawyer should occasionally rise up after Sallat Fajr and enlighten congregation on constitutional rights, basic legal issues, loopholes, lawsuits tips etc for the benefit of Muslim ummah and humanity as a whole.
In the same vein, Doctors should teach CPR, Chronic diseases, prognosis, First aid care, debunk myths etc for the benefit of Muslim ummah and humanity as a whole.
A police man should enlighten the congregation on basics, helpful security tips, staying vigilant, perhaps there’s a new crime on the rise, how the community can identify such etc for the benefit of Muslim ummah and humanity as a whole.
The Business man should create time to ‘give updates’, groom some youths, not give them money, don’t give them fish rather teach them how to fish ,mentorship! etc for the benefit of Muslim ummah and humanity as a whole.
There’s hardly no profession who can’t directly give back to the community!
Even the Gym guy can create a monthly exercise programme for the youths and older men.
This is how a community grows, not leaving everything down to Malaman iIslamiyya to change. It’s not even realistic.
While you are reading this piece. what’s your expertise? How can you directly plough something back to the community before the year ends?
Even if it is mathematics you are good at, there are kids(children, youths etc) you can always teach, just do something. Are you not tired of complaining?
Surprisingly and interestingly, this is the system Medina was built upon by the best Administrator, Muhammad The last messenger of Allah(Peace be upon him).
For us Islam intertwined with every aspect of our lives. Let all Muslim irrespective age, tribal/ethnicity lineage, education, economic, social status and so on wake up from our slumber and do the needful. Remember; We are the best nation because we promote goodness and forbid evil.
