The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwoolu on Sunday, July 24th 2022, commissioned the newly built health centre by Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih (NASFAT) Society, Ikorodu branch.
He was represented by his Special Adviser on Islamic Affairs, Imam (Prince) Mutairu Adam. The governor commended NASFAT for always supporting the socio-economic structures of government’s policies.
He added that milestone participations from individuals and private organisations to always support the government in its variety of programmes is a plus for the government.
Governor Sanwoolu then urged NASFAT as a faith-based society not to relent on projects such as this, that is capable of alleviating the sufferings of the masses. He however, implored that, all hands must on deck, to maximize the usefulness and enormous advantage of the health infrastructure which will aid to address health and its related issues among the people of Ikorodu and Lagos State by extension.
Also unveiled was the Ratibu Mosque sponsored by the Publisher/Editor-in- Chief, Oriwu Sun newspaper, Alhaji Monzor Kolawole Olowoshago.
The Chief Missioner of NASFAT, Imam Mahroof AbdulAzeez Onike while speaking at the commissioning of the ultra-modern health centre appreciated the support and commitment of the state governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwoolu, the all clerics in Ikorodu division, royal fathers especially, Oba Semiu Kasali Orimedun 1, Adeboruwa of Igbogbo land and Oba Kabiru Shotobi, Ilufemiloye 1, Ayangburen of Ikorodu and his Baales. All stakeholders involved in the success of the completion of the project were all acknowledged and appreciated.
He however, promised that the edifice will be utilised so well to the benefit of humanity especially the residents of the host community, where it is situated.
In the same vein, NASFAT President, Mr. Mumin Olaniyi Yusuf iterated the society’s commitment to always, as a matter of necessity, impact on the lives of Nigerians irrespective of their faith, tribe, colour or sect.
Hence, the formulation and rigorous efforts by the leadership of NASFAT at all levels to work on the HELD policy of the society, which is Health Education Livelihood and Dawah.
He opined that, even though NASFAT is a faith-based society but the mission/vision is not focusing on religious matters alone rather all areas needful, that concern the growth and development of humanity.
Among the dignitaries at the event were royal fathers in Ikorodu and its environ, leadership of NASFAT at the NEC, ZEC and BEC levels. Including women committee Secretaries, Youth wing, Health secretaries, Public Relations Secretaries Committee to mention but a few, they were all in attendance.
The chairman NASFAT Lagos Zone One, Alh. Engr. Mustapha Alabi and the chairman Ikorodu branch, Alh. Mikhail Oladapo Longe were on ground to host all the invited guests.
