The lead Missioner at the Ikotun Branch of the Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih, Dr. Ashamu Abdulrasheed, has said that the faithfuls of the Islamic religion do not have any reason to be poor, as the Almighty Allah, the Creator of the Earth, the Heavens and everything therein, has revealed, in the Holy Quran, the Secret to unlocking and retaining wealth.
At the weekly Asalatu of the socio-religious body, the Islamic Scholar and University Don, said instead of seeking sources other than the approved ways, Allah has hinted that “taking care of one’s Parents, Wife(s) and all Dependents are the most potent ways to conquering poverty and attaining wealth”.
The Imaam, who referenced Quran Chapter three verse 134 (Suratul Al-Imraan Q3: v 134) as the source of this claim, said Allah SWT also enjoined all the Believers in the same Chapter to embodies all the recommended attributes expected of a Good Muslim/Muslimah.
The Cleric said this recommendation is so potent that Allah SWT Himself decreed that whomever toed the path, with undistracted focus, would never be disappointed.

He said a good believer in the religion of Islam is that individual whose life mirrors the best definition of the religion .
According to him, “the definition of the Religion is total submission to the Wills of Allah, the Creator of the Earth, the Heavens, and everything therein. Expressing this submission means, a believer would also need to live and abide by all the things Allah has recommended and stay away from those He has warned against.
“A good Muslim is He/She who takes his/her responsibilities to Allah seriously and his/her families and dependants even more seriously. A good Muslim would be truthful, just, kind, and fair to all,” he added.
The Missioner however warned that Muslim men would do well enough for themselves to avoid the wraths of Allah if they take their responsibilities to their families more seriously.
He said, “of equal importance, after the five pillars of Islam, is our responsibilities to our spouses and children. It is a serious sin for you, as a husband and father, to be living an ostentatious lifestyle while your wife(s) and children in silence. You will be held responsible on the day of judgement for how kind or indifference you are to your family and children. May we not see the wraths of Allah SWT,” he prayed.
