Lagos State Govt extends Okada ban to four more Local Govt Areas and five LCDAs.

August 18, 2022

Governor Sanwo-Olu directs full enforcement from September 1, 2022 in these councils.

Lagos State Government had extended the ban of Okada to four more local government areas and six Local Council Development Areas to curtail the unruly and sometimes criminal activities of the riders.

The additional councils where total Okada ban is pronounced are

1. Kosofe Local Government
a. Ikosi-Isherri LCDA
b. Agboyi-Ketu LCDA

2. Oshodi-Isolo Local Government
a. Isolo LCDA

3. Shomolu Local Government
a. Bariga LCDA.

4. Mushin Local Government
a. Odi-Olowo LCDA
