Olaolu Falowo, a 26-year-old alleged ritualist, has admitted to killing a farmer in Ondo State’s Kuseru Village and using the farmer’s body parts in ceremonies for payment.
The victim’s body parts, which included two legs and two arms, were discovered at his home, and during a check of his father’s home, police detectives discovered a human head in a sack.
According to police sources, the farmer victim was killed and his body parts were taken by the alleged ritualist working with his father.
The suspect stated during an interview that the victim was a crazy man who was ill and close to passing away in the woods.
“The victim is an insane mental case. I killed him to ease his suffering and stole a portion of his body to sacrifice.
A relative of the deceased, however, disputed the suspect’s assertion, claiming that his brother was healthy and strong before being brutally murdered by the suspect on his farm.
According to him, his brother “is a farmer who moved to the village of Kuseru to start a farm.”
Funmi Odunlami, a spokeswoman for the state police, stated that “the suspect was in police custody for an alleged auto theft case when a check was done in his home.
Human limbs (2 legs and 2 arms and hands) were found while a human skull in a sack was retrieved from his father’s home.
