FUO ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENTS OF COLLEGE DEANS, HEADS OF DEPARTMENTS, OTHERS

The Management of Fountain University Osogbo has announced the appointment of the Deans of Colleges in the Institution for the 2022/2023 academic session.

They are, Dr. O.F Liadi, Dean, College of Management and Social Sciences (COMAS), Prof. A.J.K Shittu, Dean, College of Natural and Applied Sciences (CONAS), Dr. K.O Olaniyan, Dean, College of Law (COLAW), as well as Dr. (Mrs.) M.D. Adeoye, Dean, College of Basic Medical, Environmental and Health Sciences (COBMEHS).

The announcement of the appointment was contained in a statement issued and signed by the university’s acting Registrar, Mr. Adenekan Sheriff.

While extending the pleasure of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Amidu Sanni to the Deans, the acting Registrar wished them well as they consolidate on the spirit of excellence and great achievements recorded in the previous academic year.

In a related development, the acting Registrar has also announced the appointment of the following persons to take on the leadership of their department for the 2022/2023 academic session.

At the COMAS, Dr. R.A. Adebiyi is the new Sub-Dean, Mr. A.A. Oke is the new head of the Accounting Department, Dr. L.A. Bakare now heads the Political Science and Public Administration Department, and Mrs. B.A. Ali-Balogun heads the Economics Department, Dr. R.O. Ganiyu heads the Sociology Department, Dr. M.O. Oladosu heads the Business Administration Department, Dr. K.A. Salaudeen heads the Mass Communication Department while Mr. A.A. Yusuf heads the GNS unit & NBAIS programme.

At CONAS, Dr. S.O. Jimoh now heads the Biological Science Department, Dr. K.A. Alabi heads the Chemical Science Department, and Dr. (Mrs.) M.A. Ogunrinde heads the Mathematical and Computer Science Department while Dr. H.S. Bolarinwa heads the Physics, Electronics, and Earth Department.

At COLAW, Mrs. Z.O. Shittu-Adenuga is in charge of the Private and Business Law Department while Mr. S.O. Mustapha heads the Islamic Law Department.

And for COBMEHS, Dr. K.I. Adegbite heads the Environmental Health Science Department, Mr. M.A. Lawal heads the Public Health Department, and Dr. (Mrs.) A.A. Adedokun is in charge of the Medical Laboratory Science Department while Dr. (Mrs.) M.I. Fasasi heads the Nursing department.

The acting Registrar wishes them all a fruitful and impactful journey as they take on their new responsibility.
