Osun State Gets new COS, SSG, CPS

November 28,                2022

The newly sworn-in Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has made his first set of appointments few hours after his swearing in. Mr. Adeleke was sworn in as the sixth executive governor of Osun State on Sunday.

This was disclosed in a statement on Sunday in Osogbo, where Mr. Adeleke appointed a former chairman of Ede North Local Government, Kazeem Akinleye, as the Chief of Staff; Mr. Teslim Igbalaye a former chairman Osogbo Local Government, as Secretary to the State Government, SSG, while Mr. Olawale Rasheed is the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor.

Their appointments, according to the governor’s statement, it’s with immediate effect.

The newly appointed CPS, Osun State, Mallam Rasheed Olawale

It reads, “Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has approved the appointment of Alhaji Kassim Akinleye as the the chief of staff to the Governor;

“Alhaji Teslim Igbalaye as the Secretary to the State Government and Mallam Rasheed Olawale as the Spokesperson to the Governor.

“The appointment takes immediate effect.”
