Fausiat Salako-Sanni March 05, 2023
In 1995 somewhere in the Dopemu area of Lagos State started the conceptualisation of an Islamic organisation which was aimed to see to the yearnings of Muslims to further come together for the remembrance of Allah SWT.
The conceptualisation has since metamorphosed to a pace-setting faith-based organisation registered and famously know as Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih society, NASFAT.
Today March 5th 2023 makes the society 28 years in the forefront of propagating Islam and impacting on humanity positively, irrespective of faith, race, colour, tribe, age or gender.
The society can boast of large number of members in different parts of the world with Zones, Branches and groups globally spread.
According to the Chief Missioner of NASFAT, Imam AbdulAzeez Morufu Onike, “there’s every reason to thank Allah SWT for His mercies upon the society and her members, because within these 28 years, the society has established structures in different sectors of the economy, for instance, Fountain University Osogbo, NAZAS, Nasfat Relief Initiative NRI, TAFSAN Travels & Tours, HAVEK Leadership Academy, Lasilkiin Communications Ltd, Nasfat Legal Aid Council, NASLAC to mention but a few.”
“Besides members can attest to the fact that their supplications continued to be answered by Allah SWT.”
The CM however urged the congregation to be steadfast and hold onto Allah SWT for anything they want as He is capable of doing everything, and if your requests aren’t granted yet, it doesn’t mean Allah SWT isn’t hearing your dua’a rather He has something better in stock for you.” Said Imam Onike.
The Nasfat President, Mr. Niyi Yusuf in his message urged Nasfat members not to derail from the tenets of the religion and continue to be good ambassador of the society.
He also implored those Muslims who haven’t been serving Allah with their knowledge, wealth, energy etc to key into this kind of act of worship in addition to the obligatory activities so as to earn more of Allah SWT’s rahmah in both worlds.”
He congratulated all Nasfat members worldwide and prayed that the society continues to soar higher.
In her message, the society’s National Women Affairs Management Secretary, Alhaja Suwebah Bola A. Kupolati, she appreciated the good works Allah SWT has been using Nasfat to do in the lives of people both Muslims and Non-Muslims, members and non-members.
“Which of the favours of Allah can we deny, none!!! We can only pray to Allah SWT to grant the society more grace to impact more on humanity, as that is what Islam preaches.”
Prayers were offered today at Nasfat Headquarters, Alausa in commemorating the 28 years anniversary and also for a peaceful gubernatorial/State House of Assembly forthcoming elections in the country. As everyone was urged to come out en mass to exercise their franchise as responsible and patriotic citizens.
