The colloquium, hosted by the Nigerian Advertising Agency, provided students with an exclusive opportunity to learn from and network with renowned professionals in the fields of advertising and public relations. The Students had the opportunity to discuss industry trends, had interactive sessions with renowned professionals, and learned about new advertising strategies.

This was made known in a statement issued in Osogbo the Osun State capital on Thursday by the Public Relations Officer of the institution, Mr. Taoheed ALIMI.

The Head of Mass Communication Department at Fountain University, Dr. Kamorudeen Salahudeen said it was a great learning experience for his students.

“The colloquium provided a great platform for our students to interact with highly experienced professionals in the industry, to glean knowledge as well as enrich their knowledge about the various aspects of advertising and public relations,” he said.

“One of our students, Aminat Akindele, 400L, volunteered for an impromptu speech at the request of the MC. She was the only one so bold and privileged to come out,” he added.

The Advertising Colloquium created an ideal opportunity for students to exchange ideas and gain insight into the industry. It also provided an invaluable experience for the faculty on hand to guide students and prepare them for their future careers in the communications field.
