Breaking: NAHCON announces selected Airlines for Hajj 2023

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), has announced that seven Airlines have been selected to transport Nigerian pilgrims to Hajj 2023.

The selected Airlines are Air Peace, Azman Air, Flynas, Aero contractors, Max Air, Arik Air and Value Jet Air.

Announcing the selection Friday in Abuja, the chairman of NAHCON said the Airlines were selected after approval by President Muhammadu Buhari. He also said while the first four Airlines will transport pilgrims from the 36 states, FCT and the armed forces, Arik and Value jet airlines will provide chatter service to pilgrims travelling through private tour operators.

He also reiterated that the inaugural flight from Nigeria for Hajj 2023 will take off on May 21.

Saudi Arabian authorities have allocated 95,000 slots to Nigeria which is more than double te allocation for last year’s Hajj.
