Encomium As A Niqob Sister, Bilqis Bintinlaye, Becomes Best Graduating Student In Chemistry At US Varsity

The Offa Descendant Union (ODU), under the leadership of Alhaji Olaniyi Muideen Azeez Salako, has applauded Mrs. Bilqis Yetunde Bintinlaiye for being the Best Student Awardee at the Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, USA, where she completed her Msc programme in Chemistry with a perfect GPA of 4.0.
Bilqis, a niqob sister, has a strong background in analytical techniques, principles, theories, sampling, data analysis, forensic analysis, and method development.
The commendation was given via a congratulatory message by the ODU’s National Social Secretary and Ag NPRO, Idowu Muhydeen Oladipo, on behalf of the National President, Alhaji Salako described Bilqis’s academic feat as commendable and worthy of emulation. He said Bilqis had made us all proud.
Alhaji Salako added that Offa is known as an academic hub and that her accomplishment in the faraway USA is a testimony to this.
Also, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) 2023 presidential campaign council in Kwara State, Honourable Marooph Bukoye Bintinlaye also commended Bilqis Yetunde Bintinlaiye on her feat.
He posted the commendation on his Facebook page on Saturday evening.

“Bilqis graduated with perfect GPA of 4.0 today, Saturday, 6th of May, 2023.”
Bilqis has previously received many honours and awards such as the Albert and Ethel Smith Scholarship Award, Gale J. Clark Memorial Scholarship Award, MTSU Chemistry Department Outstanding Graduate Student Award, and the 2021 Tennessee Academy of Science Award, among others.
