The Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society, NASFAT President, Mr. Olaniyi AbdulMumini Yusuf has urged Nigerian Muslims to celebrate the Eid-ul-Adha festival with the remembrance of the virtues that come with emergence of the Eid.
He said this in his Eid-ul-Adha greetings message stated in the statement released in Lagos today by the Executive Secretary of the society, Mr. AbdulRahman Adogie.
The statement reads:
Asalam Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu,
On this joyous occasion of Eid al-Adha, l on behalf of the entire NASFAT leadership, extend warmest greetings and heartfelt wishes to all Muslims and the esteemed members of our organisation, NASFAT. May this blessed day bring you and your loved ones an abundance of happiness, peace, hope, and prosperity.
Eid al-Adha is a time of immense significance and reflection for us as Muslims. It commemorates the devotion and sacrifice of the Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and his unwavering submission to Allah’s command. It serves as a reminder of the values of unconditional faith, unalloyed obedience, total commitment, and pure compassion that we strive to uphold in our lives.
This year, as the world navigates through global challenges and as we welcome a new administration in Nigeria, let us commit to seize the opportunity of a new beginning, renewed hope and a joyous turnaround that Eid Adha portends once we put our trust in Allah. Indeed, after every hardship comes ease, relief, and comfort.
During this Eid, as we come together in celebration, let us also remember those who are less fortunate and in need. Let us extend our hands of generosity and share the blessings bestowed upon us.
As a community, NASFAT has always exemplified the spirit of compassion and charity, and I urge all our members to continue making positive contributions to humanity. While we cannot help everyone, certainly everyone can help somebody.
Let us strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and unity within our NASFAT family and the global Muslim Ummah. In closing, I express my deepest gratitude to each and every member of NASFAT for your unwavering commitment, dedication, and contributions to the growth and success of our organisation.
May Allah (SWT) grant you the fulfillment of all your heartfelt desires and reward you abundantly for all your efforts and contributions of your time, talent, and treasure.
May this Eid al-Adha bring abundant blessings, joy, happiness, prosperity and peace into our lives. May our collective efforts towards piety and righteousness be accepted by the Almighty Allah (SWT).
Once again, Eid Mubarak!. Taqabbalallahu Minna Wa Minkum. Amen.
Olaniyi Yusuf
President
