NASFAT honours Aminat Yusuf and pledges to support her law career

Nasrul-lahi-li Fathi Society known with the acronym NASFAT, is a worldwide Muslim prayer group with focus on youth, women and humanity in its entirety.
The current administration of the society is focused on a policy thrust tagged HELD meaning Health, Education Livelihood and Dawah, every activity of the society is tied around this policy thrust and demonstrated in every programme of the society.
This was reiterated on Sunday, July 9 , 2023 when the society once again demonstrated its
uniqueness and pacesetting drive towards a more enlightened society, this is evident as the best graduating student and record breaking celebrated Muslimah in the department of law at the Lagos State University, LASU for the year 2023, Aminat Imoitesemeh YUSUF was today celebrated and honored by the society.
The interaction and presentation ceremony was held in the conference hall during the monthly meeting of the National Executive Council (NEC) today
at the Alausa asalatu, Ikeja venue.
In his welcome and goodwill message, the Nasfat President, Mr. Niyi Yusuf rejoices with Aminat Yusuf and the parents for a remarkable feat.
“For many people especially in Nigeria, Islam is associated with drivers, mechanics, lower class set of people etc but with this landmark narrative among other convincing landmarks that some Muslims are making, it will go a long way in changing this narrative, some people have about Muslims.”
“And again associating with Muslim brothers and sisters flying the flag of Islam high in every of the sector they are and most importantly recognizing excellence wherever it’s being demonstrated especially from people of faith, who are embodiment of our faith, which you are one of such people and giving that you wear hijab which is an identity of a Muslimah.”
Nasfat enjoys about 70% of female membership and the two sensitive wings of the society are the Youth and women wings, so associating with Muslimahs who make Islam proud and show the beauty of the religion through their intelligence, capacity, outstanding landmark via chosen career has always been given attention to in the society, especially as a youth or as a woman.
“Nasfat is about excellence and you, Aminat Yusuf epitomised this excellence, so, on behalf of the society, we say thank you, for helping to show the beauty of Islam in your own capacity to the world.”
“This is to say well done for making the Ummah proud and appreciate your parents, Mr. and Mrs. Yusuf, especially your daddy in absential, to thank Allah on their behalf for His mercy to have allowed this landmark achievement in the family.”
Nasfat President also prayed that Allah bless Aminat, her siblings and family with more successes.
In addition to the cash gift, Aminat Yusuf was offered mentorship assistance on the platform of the society’s free legal service committee, Nasfat Legal Aid Council, NASLAC, which comprises qualified, experienced legal lunimaries that are members of the society.
“If you need any mentoring, coaching aid, be rest assured that Nasfat legal committee, on the platform of NASLAC will be available to render this service that will help your professional path.”
Being a youth that she represent, the society made a request for Aminat Yusuf to have a session in one of the society’s youth programmes to interact with the Nasfat youth, as she has become a role model to Muslim youths, this is to make the youths well inspired by interacting with one of their own. So that more successes can be recorded for the Ummah via the vibrance, energetic and versatile nature of the youth.
He however advised her to continue to be a worthy ambassador of Islam as she has proved to be and prayed that this will be the beginning of Allah’s blessings upon her.
The National Women Affairs Management Secretary, Alhaja Suwebah Kupolati encouraged her to continue to be who she is and continue on the path she has chosen. As Allah shall continue to guide her aright and surmount whatever challenges ahead for her.
“Don’t be deterred or perturbed by any challenges that could arise, continue to be prayerful and In Sha’a Allah they shall all be surmounted; Congratulations once again.”
While responding to the kind gesture and words of encouragement, Aminat Yusuf said, “I thank Nasfat and everyone who has been honouring me. Actually we never envisaged these high levels of honour coming different quarters since the news broke out about my result, really it’s Allah SWT’s making, I sincerely acknowledge and appreciate Nasfat invitation and honour of being presented with precious and prestigious gifts, Jazakumllahu Khayran, my profound gratitude.”
“It’s really very motivating, and this has created the opportunity to prove to some people who always say, ‘education is a scam’. It’s not, hard work and determination are the virtues that brought me this far, but of course definitely not without the mercy, grace and power of Allah SWT.”
“So, thank you very much for investing in me and also for being a source of encouragement to me and In Sha’a Allah Biqudrotillah, we will continue to strive more, we will continue to have more Muslim brothers and sisters that will keep soaring the flag of Islam through our various field of study and career.”
“I’m happy and I’m thankful to Allah, like I said it’s not by my power but Allah that made it happen because as I was studying, I was also praying and He answered my prayers by crowning my efforts hence the success being celebrated today. I’m very thankful to Him and I also say Jazakumllahu Khayran to Nasfat and everyone for the honour, these experiences will definitely go a long way in writing the story of my life.”
The high point of the event was the special prayers offered by the Chief Missioner of the society, who just returned from Hajj pilgrimage, Imam Morufu AbdulAzeez Onike, for Aminat Imoitesemeh YUSUF, the parents and family, NEC members, Nasfat, and also offered prayers for peace, progress and stability in Lagos, the entire country and remarkable successful tenure of the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Dignitaries at the presentation of the cheque included the Executive Secretary of the society, AbdurRahman Adogie, General Secretary, Alh. Gbenga Dauud Sunmonu, the National legal Secretary, Alh. Tajudeen Anibaba, National Public Relations Committee representative, Alh. Kemi Lawal, National Finance Secretary, Alhaja Kuburat Lawal, Project Secretary, Engr.
