Greatest is Allah SWT; The Creator of the universe.
Let’s savour it together…
RAMADAN IS GONE: NORMAL LIFE CAN NOW CONTINUE
Ramadan 1445 has gone. We celebrated Eid ul-Fitr some days ago. What is next for you? To stop praying the Five Daily Prayers? To stop giving to the needy and the poor? To stop waking up at night for voluntary worship? To hang your Qur’ān till next Ramadan? To stop attending Islamic lectures? To go back to the immoral practices you left during Ramadan? To end the good relationship you had with Allah during Ramadan? To give in to Shaytān and his temptations? To commit yourself completely to the pursuit of this fleeting world and forget about the Hereafter? To enjoy your life to the fullest and forget about death? To end your relationship with the mosque or your Muslim brothers and sisters? To start hiding your Islamic identity? To suspend your Muslim name till next year? To become mean and hostile to your spouse and children? To become irresponsible again?
What are you planning to do now that Ramadan is gone?
Why should you end your relationship with Allah because Ramadan is gone? Where did you and Allah agree that you will only worship Him in Ramadan? Should Allah also withdraw the sound health He gave you because Ramadan is gone? Should Allah also stop the air that you breathe? Should Allah also withdraw the children He gave you since Ramadan is gone? Should Allah also take away your ability to see, hear, walk and touch since you have chosen to love Him less after Ramadan?
You keep on enjoying Allah’s blessings after Ramadan, but you are planning to do less for Him or love Him less after Ramadan? Just imagine the many blessings Allah is giving you for free. How much would you have paid if you were to pay for these blessings? Think about these blessings, your family, your ability to talk, see, and hear, walk, touch, eat, drink, and your ability to live, among other blessings. How much did you pay for these blessings? Should Allah also withdraw or reduce your blessings since you are planning to do less for His sake after Ramadan?
You cannot afford to go back to sin or cut your relationship with Allah after Ramadan because Allah Himself does not stop giving you His free blessings after Ramadan. Do not allow Shaytān (Satan) to mislead you. He is your enemy. Do not allow him to ruin your relationship with your Creator after Ramadan. Shaytān has been released after Ramadan. He will want you to end your relationship with Allah. He will want to deceive you to forget about death and the hereafter. He will want to discourage you from supporting the cause of Allah. He will threaten you with poverty if you support Allah’s cause. Do not give in to Shaytān.
Ramadan is gone, but Allah hasn’t gone anywhere. The mosque hasn’t gone anywhere. The Qur’ān hasn’t gone anywhere. Seeking knowledge about Islam hasn’t gone anywhere. Praying to Allah hasn’t gone anywhere. Kindness to parents, relatives, neighbours and humanity in general hasn’t gone anywhere. Obligatory and voluntary acts of worship haven’t gone anywhere.
There is no doubt it will be difficult at the beginning to sustain the Ramadan spirit after Ramadan. But, with determination, discipline and prayers, we can do it.
Ramadan has gone with your past sins. You are now like a newborn baby who does not have a single sin. Do not stain yourself again with sins.
Put Shaytān (Satan) to shame after Ramadan.
