NAṢFAT Women connect with the Missionary

As part of the measures to keep enlightening and educating the women about their faith and religious related matters, the Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society, NAṢFAT’s women affairs management Committee in conjunction with the Da’wah Committee has organised yet another interactive session class where the Missionary interacts with women on the issue of knowledge of their DEEN.
The special edition came up on Thursday, November 16, 2023 on-line where the women had the opportunity to ask the Missioners pressing questions that are mind troubling, faith-shaking and creating confusion to them.
The on-line interactive session had more than 95 participants from all facets of life and different locations where a variety of questions were asked by the participating women while the trio of Imam Dr. Muezudeen Ajibade Adebiyi; Zonal Missioner Ogun Zone 1; Imam Saheed Adekunle, Lead Missioner NAṢFAT Ikoyi-Dolphin Outreach and Imam Barr. Yusuf Mohammad, Lead Missioner Felele Branch, Lokoja, Kogi State did justice to all the questions thrown to them by the women.
The Missionary connect with women avail the participants another avenue to interact one-on-one with the Missioners, the programme is a special edition, designed for the 5th day of the 24th Women’s Week celebration that has started since Sunday, November 12, 2023.
Among other questions and issues dealt with during the interactive session were; What’s the stand of Islam on music and dance? Is it permissible for women to cut their hair low like men do? Islamic injunction on property sharing ratio/formula for females(inheritance), Locking of hair(dread) and body tattoo as fashion for the females.
The Missionary connect with women is a periodic programme among other NAṢFAT educational activities to engage the Muslim women and Youth to further broaden their knowledge about their faith, for knowledge is power.
Besides, an uninformed mind is a deformed mind, moreover, Islam enjoins and encourages every Muslim irrespective of sex, economic, marital or social status to seek knowledge from cradle to grave.
