NAṢFAT celebrates Niyi Yusuf

The incumbent President of the faith-based society, Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society, NAṢFAT, Mr. AbudulMumin Olaniyi Yusuf has been celebrated by the society for the landmark achievements he and his NEC team have been able to record for the progress of Islam though the society.
The celebration occurred at the valedictory session organised by transition Committee that’s in charge of the activities for the inauguration ceremony of new National Executive Council members that will be inuagurated on Sunday, February 4, 2024. The session that was held virtually on Saturday evening, February 3, 2024 with the presence of over two hundred participants via zoom.
According to the Chairman of the transition committee, Alhaji Chief Ibrahim Babalola, this is the first time such a session will be held and the essence of the event, is to create an avenue for the outgoing President, Mr. Niyi Yusuf to give report of his stewardship and his team, as well as to interact with the various stakeholders in the society before handing over the baton of leadership to the sets of newly selected National Executive Council who will be at helms of affairs of NAṢFAT for the next two years before their inauguration ceremony.
Mr. Niyi Yusuf in his valedictory speech identified three things among numerous lessons he learnt in the course of serving Allah which has, “Trust in Allah for everything, there’s goodness in everyone, never look down on anyone and that there are many well meaningful individuals out there who are ready to support the work of Allah with their endowment but are looking for the right platforms to do this as their contribution to the cause of Allah and humanities.”
Encomium and accolades were showered on Mr. Niyi Yusuf and his team for their exemplary achievements recorded in the course of their administration, expressed by numerous Stakeholders during the session.
“The journey of extra remarkable contributions made Mr. Niyi Yusuf and by extension his team for the growth and development of the NAṢFAT which the reflection is crystal clear and obvious on all the agencies of the society.”
Among the society’s stakeholders who were present at the event and expressed their goodwill messages are the Chairman Board of Trustees of the society, BOT, Alh. Dr. Abdullateef Wale Olasupo, the Vice Chairman, Alh. Banji Sarumon and other members of the BOT; also Chairman National Council of Elders, NCOE, Alh. Yunus Saliu, who was represented by Alh Sheriff Yusuff, past president of the society, Alhaji Abu Salami; Mission Board ably led by the Chief Missioner, CM, Imam Morufu AbdulAzeez Onike, the National Women Affairs Secretary, Alhaja Suwebah Bola Kupolati, the National youth wing Secretary, Bro. Kabir Raji and members of the incumbent NEC.
The Zonal heads weren’t left out as they made their goodwill messages one after the other from Dr. Hamzat represented the NAṢFAT diaspora Zone in the UK /IRELAND, Chairmen of South West Zone in Nigeria, Alh. AbdulKareem Sagaya; South South Zone, Dr. Isiaq Mustapha, North Central, Dr. Nasir Raji, Ogun Zone 3, Alh. Hassan Tajudeen; Baltimore Branch in the US Zone, Alh. Bakare Biodun and the Zonal Women Affairs Secretary of America Zone, Princess Jemilat Omolola MKO Abiola; Alh. Bayo Azeez from Oyo Zone, Prof. Moruf Adelekan from UK including Alh. Fuad Aboaba from NAṢFAT Canada; Alh. Remi Bello, Imam AbdulSalam Ismail Toyin, Alh. Ismail Wasiu from NAṢFAT Lagos Zone 1 among others.
The virtues of humbleness, simplicity, dedication, team work spirit, result-oriented mindset, exceptional leadership style, proactiveness, humane, generosity are some of the attributes expressed by many participants about Mr. AbudulMumin Olaniyi Yusuf at the session and which the incoming NEC members were advised to emulate as a template to achieve landmark successes and even more than what his tenure had achieved, so that they can be celebrated like this after the completion of their services to Allah SWT through NAṢFAT and to humanity.
The goodwill messages continued to pour in both in written and verbal till about late in the evening by more Stakeholders during the valedictory session. From Prof. Olayinka Ramota Karim, the Vice Chancellor of Fountain University Osogbo, FUO, one of the agencies of NAṢFAT, to the immediate past Chairman BOT FUO, Alh. Yinka Adeola, Chairman BOT Lasilkiin Communications Limited (KIIN MEDIA), the media arm of the society, represented by Alhaja Haleemah Ojediran, the general Manager of TAFSAN TRAVELS AND TOURS, Alh. Sheriff Yusuff, GM of KIIN MEDIA, Mr. Morufdeen Bello also sent in their goodwill messages.
Others in attendance include the Vice Chairman NCOE, Dr. Seriki, the Secretary, Alhaja Nofisat Arogundade, Alh. Dele Afunku and other members of the council; the Deputy Chief Missioner, DCM, Imam Abdullateef Mohammad Bello, the National Da’wah Officer, NDO, Imam Abdul-Ganny Raji, Imam Dr. Muezudeen Ajibade Adebiyi and Missioners from various Zones and Branches, including Alh. Chindo Ahmad, Engr. Ismail Ajetola; Alh. AbdulRaheem Keji from UK Zone, Alh. Engr. Mustapha Alabi, Chairman Lagos Zone 1, Alh. Alade Muritala, Alh. Hashim Adebayo, Alh. NOB Lawal among others.
The transition committee ably led by Alh. Chief Ibrahim Babalola was appreciated and applauded for the valedictory session initiative which is the first to be organised in NAṢFAT as the society prepares for the inauguration of the new National Executive Council for the society.
The event attracted over two hundred participants and lasted till late in night as congratulatory messages kept coming in for the outgoing NAṢFAT President, Mr. Niyi Yusuf and his wonderful team members.
