Details of the statement below:
GLOBAL ECONOMIC RECESSION
ADVICE TO NIGERIANS FROM NASFAT CHIEF MISSIONER
Minimize waste, desist from impulse purchases, and focus on assets rather than liabilities.
The reality of economic doldrums is staring us in the face. I wish to therefore advise Nigerians to minimize wastages
(17:27) Those who squander wastefully are Satan’s brothers, and Satan is ever ungrateful to his Lord.
Do not engage in impulse buying; buy only what you need and concentrate on acquiring assets rather than liabilities.
Note that, in relation to personal financial literacy, an asset is anything that puts money in your pocket, while a liability is what you owe, an obligation that you must settle, typically with money.” Simply put, an asset puts money in your pocket, while a liability takes money away from your pocket.
I pray to Allah (swt) to change our conditions for the better.
La awla wala quwata hila biLlahi-l-Aliyil-Azeem

NASFAT Chief Missioner.
