It’s not news again that there’s global economic hardship and the situation is being felt by various continents, regions and countries, surviving it, is the bone of contention.
In combating this menace by seeking divine intervention, which every faithful believes, it’s one of the most essential ways and a sure way that can help come out of every challenge.
The Chief Missioner of Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society, NASFAT, Imam Engr. Morufu AbdulAzeez Onike has admonished Nigerians especially Muslims not to relent in supplicating to Allah SWT in whatever circumstance they find themselves and never to loose hope in the mercy of Allah SWT.
This is contained in a circular signed by the NASFAT CM and disseminated in Lagos on Thursday, February 22, 2014 by the National Dawah Officer/Secretary to the mission board, Imam AbdulGaniyy Raji and made available to Kiin Media.
Imam AbdulAzeez-Onike opined that, in view of the current economic reality in Nigeria that has made life uncomfortable for the citizenry and in realization of the truism as always in Allah SWT’s saying.
He further supported his admonition with Allah SWT’s words in Q25:77, which reads, “Say to them (O Muhammed): My Lord would not care for you were it not for your prayer…and verily Allah does not change a people’s condition unless they change their inner selves.”
It’s in this regard that, “I hereby enjoin every member of my society and by extension the Muslim Ummah and the country at large to improve their productivity and focus on high quality in all they do and produce.”
“Even in these hard times you should not cheat but rather help your neighbours and the needy near you, and also do not despair or loose hope, but pray to Allah SWT for His mercies.”
He however gave prayers to be supplicated after the completion of the daily Salat Fajr (dawn prayer)and Ishai (Sunset prayer) to seek divine intervention on the other hand, upon the economic hardships being experienced globally.
“Recite Suratul Quraysh beginning with Bismillah while the 4th verse should be recited repeatedly one hundred and eleven times (111), all these efforts are to seek Allah SWT’s intervention to alleviate our conditions and ease our affairs individually.” said NASFAT CM.
